You can do everything from golf, VR, solving puzzles, zip lining, axe throwing and a lot more. If you’re looking for something different to do while in Vegas that doesn’t involve gambling or going out to bars and clubs, then this is the place for you!

AREA15 is open everyday:

Monday 12PM – 1AM
Tuesday – Thursday 12PM – 12AM
Friday 12PM – 2AM
Saturday 10AM – 2AM
Sunday 10AM – 12AM

Getting There

Address: 3215 S Rancho Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89102
We took a taxi and the drive is about 15 minutes from The Strip.

Admission

Tickets to AREA15 are free but you do need to reserve them ahead of time. This is so they have an estimate of how many people will be there per day. You can reserve yours spots here. Although entry is free, there are many ticketed events within AREA15 that require a fee. It is possible to do all the events during your visit, you’ll just need to allot a lot of time. Here are 6 out of this world experiences you just can’t miss during your time here!

Eat at The Beast

Come on an empty stomach and you won’t be disappointed! The Beast by Todd English has unique and Instagram-worthy food and drinks! We ordered the space tacos, BBQ dumplings and fries. One of their popular food items is the Korean corn dog which I’ll most definitely try next time. For our drink, we got the fuzzy unicorn fish bowl and that was more than enough for me and Brea haha. They have many, many other items here – check out their menu!

There is an indoor section but since the wait for that was about an hour, we decided to go to the first come first serve area outside. This was a nice area since you can hear the music and people watch as well.

Explore Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart

Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart is probably AREA15’s most involved and popular attraction. It is an interactive experience and tickets cost around $55. You select a time slot as you buy your ticket but you don’t need to arrive exactly at that time. When you enter Omega Mart, you’ll have as much time as you want to walk around and explore. Trust us – you’ll end up spending hours here without even realizing it. The exhibits and storylines are extremely intricate. Yes – Omega Mart has a story but since it was pretty packed at the time we went (7PM), we didn’t really understand the plot and the purpose of it until half way through our visit.

Make sure you look at all the clues and try to solve the puzzles! There are also several secret doors here!

If we had more time, we probably would have stayed even longer but we had to leave to make our next ticketed event sadly. This is definitely worth another visit.

Gaze into the Infinite Portals of Wink World

Wink World is a psychedelic art installation that consists of 6 infinity mirror rooms. Tickets cost $20 per person. You also have an option to purchase 3-D glasses at the entrance for $2.50 each. They’re not required to experience the rooms but will help enhance your visuals! Each room has a brief narrative at the beginning and have a different combination of light, sound, color, and motion. You’ll be with a small group of other people and each room will be timed.

Lose Yourself in Museum Fiasco

If you ever wondered what it was like to be in a music video, then look no further. This audiovisual installation consists of mirrors at every wall and basically a light show the whole time. Tickets cost $17 per person. The event is timed (12 minutes) but you’re allowed to stay longer. The only rule is no flash photography.

When we first entered Museum Fiasco, we were underwhelmed and thought it was small but as the lights and music started up, we became instantly entranced. Since it was just us there at the time, we were able to each get a corner and basically got immersed in the mirrors.

Zip Around on Haley’s Comet

This attraction is a mixture of hang-gliding and zip-lining and costs $18 per person. Located on the 2nd floor, this experience is a nice way to see all that AREA15 has to offer with a birds-eye view. You can also make it a race since there are 2 parallel tracks. You have to hold down a button to keep going but keep in mind that it doesn’t go too fast though haha.

Feel Fabulous at Draganza

Every Friday, The Portal hosts a drag variety show. There are 2 showings: 7PM or 9PM and tickets cost $30 per person. There is a bar at the back and they have specialties tailored to the show as well. I particularly liked the Draganza drink.

AREA15

If you’re looking for even more things to do at AREA15, they also have axe-throwing, golf, and live performances! This was a great way to spend a Friday night in Las Vegas. We were thoroughly entertained the whole time!

Another way to spend your time in Las Vegas is to visit their neon museum. Read more here.
