Day 2 – Dodger Stadium

Dodger Stadium during Sunrise

For the second day (September 30, 2018), we decided to go to the Dodger Stadium at sunrise. The drive to the stadium was only about 15 minutes from where we live, but we had to get up pretty early to make sure we didn’t miss the sun rising. For those of you who don’t know, the stadium is open during non-game days. You can visit the stadium, take a tour, and also go to the gift shop. However, keep in mind there are fences and there is security that would need to let you in. The stadium opens at 10am and there are multiple entrances. We saw a security guard drive around the perimeter once while we were there.

We spent about 45 minutes to an hour here flying our drones outside the gates. Here are some shots we were able to get:

When we first got to the stadium, we drove around to 2 different entrances before stopping at this one. You can see that since we went really early, the fences were not open yet so we had to fly from the outside. Another good thing about going early is that there are no cars or people around so we parked on the street next to us.
