There’s not many places you can visit on a Tuesday night (October 2, 2018) after work, so we just ventured out to the Arts District. This area is full of activities to do, places to eat and things to see. You definitely won’t get bored. Some of the more popular places to visit here that we’ve been to include: Angel City Brewery, EightyTwo, Bestia, and Villains Tavern.
However for this night we didn’t go to any of those locations. Instead, we stopped by one of many wall arts around LA (Bloom Wall). After having dinner at Umami Burger, we walked across the street to an almost empty parking lot. We managed to find good parking on the street right next to this lot and didn’t have to pay. But if you do need to park, this lot is 10 hour parking so you have ample time.
We were able to take some pretty decent photos here since the parking lot was empty and not many people around either. These photos were taken on the Sony a7R III with a Zeiss wide angle lens.
Brea was also able to fly her drone and did a couple of hyperlapse videos. The night shots on the DJI Mavic 2 Pro were amazing. The city skyline was beautiful.
Here is a photo taken on the Mavic 2 Pro.
