The Secret Lagoon Beach is one of the hidden locations in El Nido. It features limestone rocks, white sand beach and a secret lagoon that you can only get to by entering through a cave!
The Secret Lagoon is part of Tour A in El Nido and was the first destination that we visited. We booked the private tour through Tarawis. The total was 7,500 PHP which is about $150 USD for all 3 of us. The tour included transportation via boat, life jackets, snorkel gear, as well as lunch.
Despite its name, the Secret Lagoon is actually not a secret haha. But since we arrived early enough, it wasn’t that crowded with people yet.
To get to the lagoon, you will have to enter a cave:
The inside of the lagoon was breathtaking. The limestone rocks made for a great photo backdrop.
After enjoying the lagoon and taking our photos, we visited the white sand beach and there are some good photo opportunities here as well.
We found the Secret Lagoon very beautiful and had a lot of good photo spots! We probably only spent about an hour or less here but that is all the time you’ll really need. If you have a drone, make sure to bring it!
