Directions

We visited the sand dunes after Belly of the Dragon which was about a 20 minute drive. We didn’t really plan too much except to take some photos.

One thing you should keep in mind while visiting these sand dunes or any sand dunes in general is that you’ll need to walk in sand and it can get hot depending on when you visit. Even when we visited in January 2020 and it was cold everywhere else, it was pretty hot at the sand dunes. Make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen. Walking in sand can get tiring fast too.

Luckily for us, we stopped at an area of the sand dunes that was pretty empty. We only saw about 2-3 people here.

We didn’t have to walk far before getting to one of the sand dunes that looked untouched.

Visiting the Coral Pink Sand Dunes wasn’t as noteworthy as our other destinations during this trip (compared to Belly of the Dragon and Bryce Canyon) but the good thing was that it was only a short drive away.
