When you think of Singapore, you are probably picturing Gardens by the Bay in your mind. Gardens by the Bay is very iconic and is a huge nature park that consists of many lushes trees and gardens. This attraction was also featured in the hit movie Crazy Rich Asians!

Hours
Gardens by the Bay is open everyday from 5AM to 2AM.
Admission
If you want to enjoy all that the Gardens by the Bay has to offer, you can purchase tickets either at the door or online. You can also just visit the outside which is what Brea and I did since we were short on time (we visited during our layover!)
Directions
We took a taxi from the airport to Gardens by the Bay and it was about a 15 minute car ride.
Gardens by the Bay
Since we had a 5 hour layover in Singapore on our flight back to LA, we decided to make the most of it. This was the first time that we have ever left the airport during a layover and it did feel a little risky haha.
Grabbing a taxi was easy since we were at the airport and the taxi driver was very friendly and spoke amazing English. All of the buildings in Singapore looked so modern – we will definitely come back to visit when we get a chance!
Once we got to Gardens by the Bay, we were immediately in front of the Supertree Grove, which is the infamous tall trees. We took pictures here and also visited the gift shop.
There are many attractions that you can visit here and it seems like you can easily spend hours just exploring.
Even the restrooms were fancy and different – there was a small garden in this one!
Brea and I only spent maybe an hour here and then went back to the airport so that we wouldn’t miss our flight. It was a short but perfect way to end our trip to Thailand & Bali!
