There is a secret, hidden speakeasy bar located at Resorts World, the newest hotel-casino in Las Vegas in a decade. Well actually, I should say the newest hotels (plural) since Resorts World is comprised of 3 separate hotels (Hilton, Conrad, and Crockford).
We managed to visit and stay at The Hilton just a few weeks after they opened! They opened to the public on June 24, 2021 and we visited between July 9 – July 11. If you are a foodie, you will want to add this to your itinerary even if you’re not saying here. They have over 40 restaurants to dine at not to mention their Famous Foods Street Eats!
While you are exploring and stuffing your face, keep a keen eye out for something out of place. You’ll know you’ve found the right place if you think to yourself… “what a random collection of items they’re selling”.
On the day that we found the bar, we knew it existed but weren’t really trying to find it yet. We were just walking around Resorts World after a night out at Area 15 (highly recommend!). Brea noticed this store that was oddly empty and selling a strange array of items. There is no password to enter so we just asked the person at the front if this was the location of the speakeasy and she said yes! The entrance is behind a stall at Ms. Meow’s Mamak Stall. I mean, just the name sounds suspicious already!
It didn’t look busy from the outside but I guess it was busy inside since the wait was about an hour. We decided to come back a little later that night and was able to get in without waiting.
This must be how it felt like to visit a speakeasy back in the day … we felt like we stumbled upon something precious. Once you walk through the door, it was like a completely different vibe.
We each ordered a drink at Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den and stayed for about an hour before returning to the outside world.
