Parking

You can park in the lot or shoulder on Tioga Road (that’s where we parked) and just walk down to the lake. There are other parking areas on either end of the lake as well.

Restrooms

There are no restrooms here so you will need to use it either before you get to this location or after.

Distance

If you hike or walk the entire Tenaya Lake loop then the trip will be about 2.5 miles roundtrip. However, you can just walk from the parking on Tioga Road and you’ll already be at the lake (only a couple steps).

Difficulty

The loop around Tenaya Lake is an easy hike and you can go at your own pace while enjoying the scenery.
